3. TikTok Data Usage & API Compliance
Ethio digital accesses public and authorized information through the TikTok for Developers API (such as TikTok Research API, Display API, and Webhook events) strictly to generate digital presence audits, engagement benchmarks, and brand growth analytics.
Data Scope Accessed
We only request and access explicitly authorized scopes, such as public profile metadata (username, display name, avatar, bio, follower and following counts) and public video performance metrics (views, likes, shares, comments, published timestamps, hashtags). We never access, collect, or store private direct messages or sensitive personal information.
Permitted Purposes Only
TikTok user data and metrics are exclusively used to produce aggregate presence statistics, compute industry benchmarks, and display dashboard performance charts to authorized account users.
Prohibition on Sale & Unauthorized Transfer

- Platform Deletion Notifications: We honor automated data deletion requests and webhooks sent by TikTok and social platforms without unreasonable delay.
